102 Boarding Bridges in Terminal T5 of Xi’an Xianyang International Airport “Made in Shenzhen”

All 102 passenger boarding bridges in Terminal T5 of Xi’an Xianyang International Airport were built by Shenzhen CIMC – TianDa Airport Support Co., Ltd. (hereinafter CIMC TianDa), a subsidiary of CIMC.

Combined with the existing terminals T1, T2 and T3 of Xi’an Xianyang International Airport, CIMC TianDa has provided a total of 181 boarding bridges for the Airport.

From February 20, domestic flights of three airlines involving China Eastern Airlines(中国东方航空), Shanghai Airlines(上海航空)and China United Airlines(中国联合航空)and all international, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan regional flights will be transferred to Terminal T5 for operation. The professional maintenance team of CIMC TianDa stationed at the airport in the early morning of that day to ensure the normal pick-up and equipment maintenance of Terminal T5, providing passengers with safe and convenient travel. CIMC TianDa is also responsible for the maintenance of baggage system of Terminal T5.

In addition, all 125 bridge-mounted aircraft air conditioners in Terminal T5 were supplied by CIMC.

According to the related head of CIMC TianDa, the engines are usually turned off when the aircraft is parked on the ground. Transporting cold air or heating into the interior of the aircraft through a pipeline connected to the aircraft’s air conditioning system, the bridge-mounted aircraft air conditioner maintains the temperature inside the cabin at a comfortable level, so that passengers can enjoy a pleasing environment when boarding, disembarking, or waiting for take-off.

CIMC also provided 18 fire trucks for Terminal T5, comprising two Ziegler Z4 airport express trucks and six Z6 main foam trucks, four of which are equipped with puncture arms.

To date, as the “World Champion” in the field of boarding bridges, CIMC TianDa has supplied or will deliver over 10,000 boarding bridges for 419 airports in 89 countries and regions spanning five continents.
